September 10- First Meeting of the 2024/25 season. Enjoy a potluck brunch while you reconnect with old friends and make new friends. Brush up on your garden trivia - maybe you will win a prize for playing Nancy Brady's Garden Quizzo! The September meeting will also offer an opportunity to purchase a ticket for a trip to the Longwood Gardens Christmas Show Dec 3-4, information on the 2025 Plant Sale, and an opportunity to expand your garden with high-quality spring bulbs available for purchase

October 8 - Field trip to the new Cape May Point Science Center for a guided tour of the Native Plant Garden, led by Katie Bliss.

November 12 'Make and Take' Fall Arrangement. This is a fun way to learn together about how to choose the right container, color combination ideas, tips on where to get quality fresh flowers, and how to make your arrangement last. 
There will be a nominal cost to GCCM members for supplies

December 3-4 - Longwood Gardens Christmas Display

Mid-December (Date TBD) - GCCM Members’ Holiday Luncheon.

January 14 - 'Make and Take' Terrariums with Joe Alvarez. Banish the winter blues by learning how to make a simple terrarium that will brighten your home year-round. Joe is a former president of the Native Plant Society of NJ and Master Gardener Instructor and former Agricultural Program Assistant for the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County. With over fourteen years of experience as an educator, he is currently a lecturer for the Cape May County Library's Adult Education Series on Horticulture and Gardening.

February 11 - February is the time to think about sowing seeds for summer flowers and vegetables! The Master Gardeners from Rutgers Extension Unit will teach us the basics of sowing our own seeds, which is a fun and economical way to start your garden.

March 11 - Preparation for our 2025 Plant Sale 

April 8 - 'Make and Take' Easter arrangement

May 10 (Sat) - 2025/Plant Sale at Rotary Park in Cape May

Late May/Early June - Educational Field trip TBD.

June 10 - Members’ Annual Spring Luncheon.
