Mission Statement
The Garden Club of Cape May is dedicated to providing our members with education, resources, and opportunities to expand their love of gardening and floral design while encouraging active participation in community, environmental, and historic projects to preserve and protect our natural resources.
Where and When
The Garden Club of Cape May meets from September through June on the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings will begin at 9:30 a.m. with refreshments. The program begins at 10 a.m. Lunch at a local restaurant follows the meeting and is not mandatory. Donations of non-perishable food and paper goods (tissues, toilet paper, towels) for the Cape May Community Food Closet are accepted at the meetings.

What We Do
  • Promote all aspects of gardening and conservation
  • Participate in community beautification projects
  • Educational outreach to local elementary school(s) and public speakers at our meetings
  • Donations to the Cape May Community Food Closet and Kiwanis Club
  • Summer garden parties to "learn and share" our gardens
  • Scholarship awards to CMC seniors for continuing education along Agricultural Science/Horticultural track
